What is Restaurants Care?

Restaurants Care is a program of the California Restaurant Association Foundation (CRAF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We proudly provide emergency assistance to food service workers during times of crisis. From helping with cost of living expenses due to injury, illness, or natural disaster, CRAF unites the industry to provide one-time crisis grants to members of California’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.

How does Restaurants Care work?

Restaurant employees facing an unforeseen hardship may submit a simple application for support. General hardship requests will be processed and reviewed with funding being allocated based on available funds via calrestfoundation.org or via email at restaurantscare@calrest.org.

Where does Restaurants Care get its funding?

Funding for Restaurants Care comes from a variety of sources including personal donations, corporate partnerships and events. Want to be a part of this awesome group of people? Donate here.
