Food and Beverage Workers
In the three months following the LA Fires, Restaurants Care delivered direct emergency aid to 953 f+b workers who lost jobs, housing, and stability.
In August, Restaurants Care distributed an additional $278,000 in housing stability grants. Together, these grant programs kept workers stable during the chaotic aftermath of the Fires.
Small Businesses
A thriving restaurant scene in Los Angeles is key to longterm recovery. Restaurants generate jobs, tourism, and vibrant communiites. Restaurants Care provided $10,000 grants to 253 independent restaurants and food trucks in the county. These small businesses collectively employ 3,100 people.
