Restaurants Care’s COVID-19 Response
Since March, we have been humbled by the need of those in our restaurant community. While we’re not out of the woods yet, we’ve made a meaningful impact. Because of our community’s generosity, we have been able to provide grants to over 1,160 restaurant workers and their families (and counting!). Donations paid for groceries, rent, utility bill payments, and other critical necessities. Together we’ve kept families together and fridges full.
Please note, we have closed our COVID relief grant application as we’ve awarded all available funding. (Tenga en cuenta que hemos cerrado nuestra solicitud de subvención de ayuda COVID ya que hemos concedido todos los fondos disponibles.) We realize the recent stay-at-home order in California has made this time even more challenging and that the need is great. Click here for additional resources.

Help Us Rebuild
We mobilized quickly to provide all available resources to cooks, servers, dishwashers and more as the pandemic grew. Help us rebuild the fund so we can say “yes” when we receive a request for help.
Restaurants Care is an established emergency assistance fund for California restaurant workers year-round. We help people stay afloat during chemo, natural disasters, death in the family, and yes – a global pandemic too.
We need your help to rebuild the fund. Please donate so we can provide a critical safety-net for those in our community.

#OurFoodFamily
“I’m a chef and restaurant operator. In 2017 when fires devastated wine country I teamed up with Restaurants Care® to help. They are on the frontlines helping to preserve our California food culture by helping the workers at the heart of our food family. By coming together in this crisis, we can serve hope to those suffering and get through this.”
